Syracuse has been one of the best teams in college basketball the entire season and are big favorites to win the Big East. The Orange are 30-1 overall including 17-1 in conference. Other teams in the Big East that could possibly make some noise is Marquette who is 25-6 and 14-4 against the Big East, along with Notre Dame (21-10, 13-5), Georgetown (22-7, 12-6), South Florida (19-12, 12-6), Louisville (22-9, 10-8) and Cincinnati (22-9, 12-6). Seton Hall is 11-1 outside the Big East but struggled with an 8-10 conference record.
Here are a few pointspread trends to note for some of the Big East.
Marquette is 5-1 ATS as a dog.
Georgetown is 8-5 ATS on the road.
Cincinnati is 4-9 ATS at home.
Seton Hall is 9-4 ATS at home.
It’s been a down year for Connecticut as they are 18-12 overall and 8-10 against the Big East. They’ll need another big run in the conference tourney but they get a big boost now that head coach Jim Calhoun has returned to the bench.
