Playoff Predictions and one big Upset

These divisional round playoff games are the most anticipated games of the year to date.

In the NFC, you have the high flying offense of the Saints against the stingy defense of the 49ers. Not sold on San Fran and although New Orleans a much weaker road team, I expect them to get the win. Lay the 3.5 points.

The other NFC game could be the upset of the week. The Packers have had a week off but a lot of distractions, starting with the unfortunate death off the offensive coordinator son Joe Philbin. Coaches and front office people discussing other jobs. Take in the fact that the Giants are confident, can run the ball and Eli Manning give the Giants a legitimate chance of striking the upset. Take the points.

In the AFC I think it’s Baltimore’s time. Texans on road with 3rd string QB against a starving Ravens team. Lay the points.

And finally Tom Brady and Tim Tebow time. I’d like to think I know something about football and it’s end of line for Denver. New England in a blowout.
